Here we are in Los Angeles, fresh off the plane. One of the ways to get to Downtown LA, and my method of choice, is via the Metro. It is nowhere nearly as extensive as New York City, but it does its job. Here, we are boarding a train at Aviation Boulevard/105 Station, which is the station for the airport. I am not sure what the model is for these trains, but they are moderately new and made by Siemens. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on December 10th, 2008.
does the train still talk?

The model is called the Siemens P2000's. They are my favorite out of the Metro Rail fleet, but apparently they stopped making them (which must be why Metro just bought a bunch of new Breda 2550's for the Expo and Gold Line).
