@garyuk17 I do appreciate it, all I'm saying is they should have more resources and there should be people on duty. I'd have thought that would be quite important.

@yossariancomplex They are a retained fire station which means when the pager's sound they have to then respond from where ever they are to then drive, run, cycle to the fire station then make the appliance fully crewed!! I think you'll find I know where the fire station is!... My point is they are not wholetime and from what I gather you seem to think that it is a manned station when it isnt..
I think how bright this fire is they recieved more than just one caller.....

@garyuk17 The fire station isn't more than 2 minutes away fromthere, the fire's clearly been going for a good while. Perhaps no one called them but I find that unlikely.

Give the emergency services time to get there!!, they dont just magically appear there when you want them too!

I live incredibly close to where that fire started, Never realized how high it was burning as when I came out to take a look the firefighters had arrived.
They were there into the afternoon the next day putting it out too!
