I agree sooo much! I HATE separate checks!! Its so annoying, wayyy more extra work, plus, lots of times servers have several large groups that have multiple checks at the same time, so it can get pretty stressful sometimes trying to keep up with everybody"s individual separate checks. Or worse is when the large group doesn't mention that they want separate checks until the end of their meal, which leads to hell trying to split the bill at that point. And I agree about the tips!!! They are low

You're 100,000% right. When people go out to eat, they love to go out of their way to be inconsiderate to their waiter. 17 separate checks is a crisis and absolutely the fault of the guest. Remember, the customer is always right in the way.
