It's an homemade autogiro, rotor head mad with a Fanuc mill.
Airfoil is the SG6042 and the pitch is 0°, blades are very heavy, 235gr each! So I need a drill to prerotate the rotor. Diameter is 1m60 or 63in. Weight is 4,5kg or 10lb.
The engine is an old Super Tigre 90, still working well!

  • is that the actual speed of the blades or is that from the rps matching the framerate of the camera?

  • Hello, sorry for the late reply.

Yes it's a stroboscopic effect, not the actual speed of the blades.
