Big Fire Off of Slauson Ave. (South L.A.)

A building owned by United Alloys and Metals went up in flames and blew up three times while the firemen were on scene putting out the fire. Sadly no explosions were caught on camera. The structure contained tons of titanium (Ti) metal which when burning and mixed with oxygen (O) and water (H2O) creates an explosive mix. I felt and heard the first blast at my home about 4 miles away. The next two explosions happened simultaneously. I heard them as soon as I got back home.

@propyropower One fireman received a concussion from the blast while others received burns from molten Ti.

Some fire trucks had their windows blown out.
