Great Move! going across the middle instead of around the sides (with the strap) looks like a better ideal to me. I have seen skirts crack in the cor

ners when you go around the side with a strap when you raise it to an upper level.

@rustbucket77 Hello Rust Thanks Man We do a lot of these type of moves and it scares me everytime but I have made up the equipment to do them. I always wrap around the tub like this for fear of breaking the corners. A Crane would be much faster but not always practical.

There are Situations where a crane will not work either Logistically or Financially. When you get into that situation you have to use your Brain not just call a bigger crane. This was one of those situations. I could have hired a crane to do the job and it would have cost so much that the job would not have been worth doing. I use cranes when practical and this method when not so Haters don't waste your time writing. This is not our side job we have move alot of tubs! Everybody has their way.

@Misterswissarmy It cracks me up to have arm chair Quarterbacks comment! A CRANE WILL NOT WORK IN EVERY APPLICATION PEOPLE!!!!!!! There was no way to use a crane in this move because the street was too far away from the deck! They were building a house next door and there was no driveway close! Could have hired one of the high rise cranes I guess but that would have cost more that the tub! I have moved more tubs than most of you have ever seen! Anyway Cranes are for people with no imagination!

haha. You guys are awesome. I love using the spa dolly for my hot tub moves. I give you guys some pointers on hot tub moving, but so far you look like you know what you're doing. lol
