Some, (not all), people in the US have a total misconception about how it is in England. A friend of my daughter's in the US said "England is an awful place, there are no hospitals, no Walmart, & they all have to do what our president tells them", & she really believed this to be true. England has everything the US has..dial-less phones, cell phones, iphones, digital cameras, up-to-date cars, cable/satellite tv, hospitals & Walmart, & even those new-fangled things called computers. lol

funny, this daniel reese was suppose to be very rich.....news papers,horse breeding..etc...and then sammy joe inherited all of this and by the 91 reunion she had ran through it all and was broke....

@tonywrestles2 no u r correct most wealthy people from old money....the rockefellers,vanderbuilts,kenn­edy, think of relationships that way and want their children to marry into famlies that can only grow the family wealth...the only thing is Alexis was not old money..she married a billionare on his death bed and spent the rest of time faking it..

Is it just me, or does Alexis primarily think of relationships in terms of debts and obligations?

The UK is a very sophisticated country I cannot understand why the movie studios in the US has an image of the UK as 30 years behind, but then again, we in Europe know what goes on In the US than what Americans knows what happened in Europe, I call this plain ignorance.
