St. Elsewhere Theme on the Organ

Continuing the series of 80's TV themes on weird instruments: St. Elsewhere. The original piece was composed by Dave Grusin. This version includes a short semi-improvised "outro" in the end.

I use Roland Juno-G preset named "Pipe Org/Mod" with some additional reverb. I play in C-major and use the Transpose function to bring it to F-major which seems to be the original pitch on the TV series. In the very end I also press the Octave Down key to reach the lowest bass note.

wow. i'm just in 6th grade and my band class is playing the st elsewhere theme so i tried to play it on the piano with out sheet music. it sounded right but not right. I've been trying to find one for the piano on youtube. You are the ONLY one.

This is too cool - you were able to pick up all of the nuances in the song - not just the chords, etc. I completely enjoyed listening to it!!
