I am interested in Starting WISP ,what all equipments are needed,what will be approximate cost to set up a
sector,how much range do you get ?.How many subscribers do you have

My server has a connection of 75 up and 150 down. Yes having my ISP run fiber just to my business and into a spceial modem that is direct fiber in the modem and not coaxial cable. Works very well.

is there any way to contact him ? Mr.Joseph ? I would really like to ask a few questions myself, as i too need to setup and start with a small ISP in my area, as the charges for the normal big isps are quite high.

This is a great video... A lil' short, but a great example of how everyone around the world is becoming digital pioneers. I'm in the process of starting an ISP myself, and I found this to be quite inspiring... And, who doesn't use Linux for ISPs now a days? ;-)

he does use a router - the linux server does proxy and other network services, including a local email MTA.
