Thank you, Wildlife Center of VA. for posting this video. Buddy contracted Avian Pox. He looks fairly health here. What damage does Avian Pox do to an eagle like Buddy? Would it affect his mental facilities? His reasoning? How did he contract the virus? I take it there is no cure. But you would never know to look at him. He's a very handsome eagle. Are American Bald Eagles still on the endangered species list?

Buddy is simply one of the most amazing species ever created! You and many organizations like you are simply amazing! What a great job you have done w/Bud! I'm sending "Buddy Bucks" your way!
I will have to see if your group is our on the Commonwealth's CVC Program list so I can sign up to donate each year and check into volunteering w/ the Center this summer. Any support I may be able to offer and suggest to friends, carpenters and others who volunteer here in Richmond as well.
