I really want to dye my hair into that infra red color...

My natural hair is brown and I dyed it blue-black like 2 months ago...

So will I ruin everything or can I dye it into red?

And how long does the color "stay" .? thanks:)

@EnchyRapGirl The blue has probably washed out by now. If you dye the infra red over the remains of the blue though and the black, it will likely be a purplish color at first.

@redbutterflygarden Have a stylist do that part. It can be hard to get the color separated.

Another way to get gloves is go get a "flu shot" when the doctor leaves the room take the gloves and run :D

When I first started dying my hair non natural colors I used manic panic but it never took to the color they said it would and it never lasted even with bleaching and washing it less and in cool water. Props for it working for you but I will never use their dye or bleach again. Considering they also now rip you off with the bleach.

its naturally like a reddish blonde/brown color. I've got a few black streaks i put in back in early November. i just got it cut today, so i want to dye it soon

@ToasMaPa No but a brush makes it easier. Otherwise, what are you going to use? Believe me...even gloved hands will make this job super messy. What color is your hair? You might not have to bleach it to get a good red.

I dont want to bleach my hair because i feel like it would damage my already bad hair. im looking for a deep vibrant red? also, do i have to use a brush to put the color in my hair?
