OhioHealth suggests Tomotherapy to cancer patients for its higher doses of medicine & less toxicity.

Patients at Riverside Methodist Hospital are offered a new way of fighting cancer. This machine, called the Tome Therapy Machine surpasses the abilities of radiation machines because it uses 51 separate beams to attack cancer. Patients also say that this machine is more comfortable when compared to other machines. Tomo Therapy Machines shoot higher doses with less toxicity to cancer patients. This machine can be used to fight a wide variety of cancers including brain, colon, and prostate.
