Pro-life: I'm not afraid to say that the life of a sapling begins at germination. I am totally opposed to the abhorrent and immoral procedure of clear-cutting — except, of course, in the rare cases where the health of the forest ecosystem is at risk. - Ralph Nader

How can he be so right about so many other topics but so damn wrong on this one... now I don't know who I will vote for.

And you're obviously very ignorant about this issue then. It's like saying you won't vote for Ron Paul because he doesn't believe in evolution. Completely foolish.

An embryo does not have rights and the States should not be allowed to keep a women from their right to choose.

Totally agree with you. Why the negative six on your comment? Because the vast majority of posters here are hardcore anti-choice with completely closed minds. Your comment was the sanest I've seen attached to this particular video.

I don't believe that a non-sentient, pre-viable embryo/early fetus is a 'child', and neither do any scientists I know (not to mention millions of Americans). When the Constitution was written, embryology wasn't even a developed science. I don't believe anyone should reverse a law that allows individual choice, since the question as to what exact point 'intrauterine humanity' begins will never be answered definitively by humans.

well abortion is always seen here as a very complicated issue. Because before abortion, the fetus still had rights. And much of those rights have been deminished due to Roe v Wade. I just wouldn't place Ron Paul in the same boat as extreme Christian conservatives like Huckabee. Because Ron Paul only follows the constitution and has the best record to prove it. Most of the things he says can be easily manipulated, but that's only because it's easy to manipulate the truth.
