Fantastic!

It makes you realize what you do have when you see children sleeping on the ground en masse and communities wiped out. What were the clips from?

The clips are from Clay Aiken's trips to Uganda, Indonesia and Afghanistan. As a Goodwill Ambassador, Clay travels to countries and assists to heighten awareness of the needs of children in devastating situations. For example, the last clip was from his recent trip to Afghanistan. This effort helped to raise awareness for the need of funding for schools - just think GIRLS going to school in Afghanistan!!! Gives you hope for the future.

What does Unicef focus on? Natural disaster relief?
Icantfindaname345 3 years ago
UNICEF focuses on many situations affecting children on a global basis, including education, protection and immunization. What makes UNICEF special is that they are on the ground in over 100 countries. When the cyclone recently hit Myanmar, UNICEF was already there (and had been since 1950) and in a position to give aid. However, there is still a great need for life-saving relief in Myanmar.
