What a great little Jaw crusher. It looks as though it's running the wrong way though. The Jaw should be trying to pull the material down, not lift it up. It could be my dodgy eyes though. Top marks.

Hey there Dave,
Are you going to be making these? How can i get one or make one? Yours is great. I am moving to hawaii and you have to break up the lava for your yard. The machine you have looks like it could work if maybe enlarged...is that possible? thanks...Joe

Hi Joe.
I made this crusher by buying the Jaw Crusher from India & diesel engine from eBay. If you find a small jaw crusher 2nd hand you'll save money. Mine is under 2 tons for transport but you can by bigger. It will crush rock/concrete etc that will fit in the feed chute. I use the crushed product as road base.
It would crush lava broken to size, mine is 12" wide by 7.5" thick & up to 20" long. I use a rock breaker on my backhoe to break material to size.

What the heck are crushing? Looks like cinderblocks to me. What are you doing with final product ? Thanks , John.

Hi John, thanks for the enquiry.
I am crushing broken concrete from slab & garden edging demolition as well as bricks & concrete blocks. I have a rock breaker for my JCB 1CX skidsteer backhoe which I use for demolishing concrete etc to the crusher size.
I sell the finished product to local people as roadbase for their dirt roads. The final result is a material of 25mm minus, (1" minus), which is a good size for roadbase in our region.
Are you involved in crushing yourself!
Regards Dave
