Erinyes

Lyrical translation:
The stars are born and they die again
eternally repeating the same cycle.
The following day, the following era and still the following
are the stars born and so it is they fade away.

Alongside the flow of revolving time
I live inside of my lost past.
A mote of uncrazed light
elucidates the wandering travellers.

Let me show you my power;
it is a very slight force.
But when combined with your might
it becomes a vast power.

Your fingers and mine interlace
without creating any gap;
let's unite our hands precisely.
We all form a ring
looking up at the heavens;
we shall let the light of peace descend.

The several thousands of years amassed
have snuffed out even the flickering dreams of the stars.
Closing the book of lore I had been leafing through
the singular torch-light seems a lantern in the twilight.

Should the west-facing shutters be opened
what will steal in will be the decayed shadow of night.
The blood-red moon rising in the darkness
endlessly chronicles the beginning.

For whose sake is your rage?
A rampaging spirit
haunts this cave of profound grief;
it is a world of lies and deceit.

Incantations from Hades
are whispered under my breath;
we shall let rain of silver and gold fall.
Some of the courage we bear
takes flight;
let us smile profusely.

Clasping your hand in mine
we open our hearts;
let's search for the midday orb.
Voice and voice overlap
we synchronise our breathing;
if a beautiful sound is created
we'll be able to protect our planet.
