Full Spectrum Life Himalayan Salt Lamps not only look nice, they help purify the air by creating negative ions. Filmed and edited by Barbara Yates.

  • Thanks for your comment. It sounds like what you were experiencing is the salt attracting the moisture in the air and having it 'pool' at the base of the lamp. To keep this from happening, keep the lamp lit. The heat from the bulb keeps the negative ion cycle going and prevents the moisture from pooling. If you live in an extremely humid environment, you may need to put a plate under it to catch the moisture. I have only heard of this once and she lived on the coast in Costa Rica.

  • I used to have two of these and they 'leaked', I was constantly having to wipe up what appeared like water with bits in it so can you explain this? I loved them very much and would love to buy more, I threw the other one's away but I'd hate to go through all that again!
