Popcorn and his sister Poppit are pure bred Cockers from a professional breeder. They were given as a gift to a woman by her daughter. Although she appreciated the gesture, she really didn't want a pair of puppies. As a benefactor of Pet Rescue by Judy, she knew just who to call to find them good homes! And that is what we will do. Like a lot of cocker spaniels, they seem uneasy around children so we think it best that they go to an adult home. They seem quite petite, but of course they are still quite young. Please be aware that Cocker Spaniels require more attention than the average bear - they require grooming, attention to ear and eye health, and lots of love. Of course, the love part is easy with a sweetheart like Popcorn!

  • aww I have a chocolate with a tad of white cockalier.. brown spaniels are the best lol so cute

  • These are English Cocker Spaniels, though not particularly showy examples. The nose is longer, the eyes smaller and usually they have less coat than an American Cocker Spaniel. In the US they are quite rare, while the American Cocker is one of the top 10 dog breeds. I am sad that both Cockers are often not correctly trimmed in the US, there are some shocking examples of "chopped" cockers on You Tube, where they have been clipped and cut instead of proper trimming/plucking/thinning.

  • How sweet <3

  • I have a brown dog just like that

  • Oh they're so adorable!

Are these american cockers or english cockers? I can never tell the difference... I have a cocker myself, but I wonder if he's a pure bred.
