@robertelee7 So you're going to say "sucks for you" to those rape victims? That's still a very, very large amount of people.
-
@robertelee7 Im sorry that Im doing more important things with my life than keeping up with your misguided viewpoint. I am a woman. You are, Im guessing, a man. You will never experiance childbirth. You will never be raped and be left with a sexually transmitted person that because of people like you, you will have to give birth to an unwanted child. You, sir, are not a woman and should not be part of this conversation. This should be between a woman and her doctor.

@4278snowpeas Did I say anything about reproductive rights? I'm talking about "birth" rights. I'm fine with a woman who expresses her "reproductive rights" every night, but who allows the baby to be born and go to a decent home. An unborn baby is a separate conscious mind and body who is not a part of the woman, but merely dependent on the mother until it is born. I doubt I'll carry on this argument with you when you take so long to reply, and when you do its with invalid and off-topic arguments

@robertelee7 So you now control all of a woman? Can I cut off your reproductive rights? or am I not allowed to because you are superior to all women? I have an idea for a a bill! At the age of 45, if a man is not married, he must get his penis cut off. Good idea? It would certainly reduce the amount of unwanted pregnancies, and men are the reason why we have abortions. keep it in your pants and we'll stay away from the pill/procedures. :)

@4278snowpeas Ahh the famous abortion rape argument! 0.4% of abortions are done due to rape. I would still be against having an abortion in that case, but those women would have more of an excuse to have an abortion than the other 99.6% of women.

@robertelee7 even if shes raped?

@Sueezee1, it is implied....that is not enumerated. Perhaps you misread and or did not fully read my post/s.
If a right is not enumerated then it is not set in stone by any standard....hell, even if it is enumerated said right/s can be altered or abridged.

@RebelGuy95says: if one strictly interprets the Constitution then there is no right to privacy, period,
It is implied, such as the privacy of beliefs (1st Amendment), privacy of the home against demands that it be used to house soldiers (3rd Amendment), privacy of the person and possessions as against unreasonable searches (4th Amendment), and the 5th Amendment's privilege against self-incrimination, which provides protection for the privacy of personal information.

*you're doing it*
Hmm, well, McCain, if one strictly interprets the Constitution then there is no right to privacy, period, for the right to privacy does not appear anywhere in the Constitution.

@thestebbz18, all of our laws are derived from either the constitution directly or from the constitutionality of their implementation.
The right to privacy, if there is any, therefore, is completely dependent upon how the constitution is interpreted in these cases, as well as any others dealing with said right.
Roe v. Wade merely stretched the right to privacy to include abortion prior cases allowing first married, then even unmarried individuals to use contraceptives!
