Intelligent Design Creation

Intelligent Design is being pushed on the USA as a cloaked "creationist" update to counter "The Theory
Of Evolution", which really isn't a "theory ' at all, it "predicts ' certain fossils or animals and shows them on a tree if they are missing, this happened during the Dover,Pennsylvania school board case when a fossilized fish was found during the trial. Evolution can work with religious people if they are open to hard science, Intelligent Design just says that "poof " something should appear with no scientific credentials. Did man evolve from apes over time? There are fossils like "Lucy" that are 3.2 to 3.4 million years old that aren't total ape or man. Is Spaceship Earth something like the book "Chariots Of Fire". It said that aliens came here and impregnated some apes left and we are some sort of "test"? Can you wrap your head around that?
