That is interesting that The Departed doesn't mention Infernal Affairs at all. I do have both films and I thought they were pretty good. Personally, it should of mentioned the original, that way viewers can get a different spin on the movie. To me, if you are going to do a remake, you have to make a different spin on the movie and make it great as the original or even better.
