  • Can't give a precise date for this as it clearly wasn't networked and I only have Westcountry, Meridian and HTV listings. It's clearly from the same week as two of your other uploads though.

  • Working sequentially through the tape, I think this must be late on Friday 7th March (Jane Eyre tx. 9th March).

It could be late Saturday but "SHiFT" looks more Fridayish to me.

  • HOW FAST IS THAT IDENT?!

  • If I knew what Tyne Tees would become. I wouldn't have kicked off about Channel 3 North East.

  • 'ere - it's that bloke out of Coronation Street who stitched up Rose Webster

  • Hmm, the Limo on the Lottery advert reminds me of Jeremy Clarksons efforts a few years back on Top Gear XD

  • A few years after Yorkshire bought Tyne Tees they decided it would be a good idea to rename Tyne Tees as 'Channel 3 North East'. To cut a very long story short, it didn't work and when Granada purchased Yorkshire, C3NE was binned and the Tyne Tees name returned.

  • What's this Channel 3 business then?

Was that a Yorkshire thing only? HTV certainly didn't do it (to the best of my knowledge)

  • "Channel 3 North East"? Who *were* they trying to kid? ;-)

(Well at least it's better than boring old ITV1.)

  • Have you ever seen such sillier an endcap? Infact, it was actually a Yorkshire Television presentation for Channel 3 North East, if you think about it.

John Crosse and Maggie Mash are heard here.
