Call your pet a filthy rodent???
-
cute gerbils :)

@JonesGal14 Sorry that was a long time ago, I use both plastic and tank usually combined. If you get the right tank cover ( Which should be wire mesh ) they provide excelent ventalation. As far as respirtory problems go that could be a result of toxins in bedding like pine or cedar. I use carefresh but aspen wood shavings are fine. I like my plastic cages but I feel they nee more room to burrow ( I use Habitrail Ovos) I guess it's just a fight of facts on which is better but I truly do not know.

i haz this same cage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
No actually Tanks are reccomended for gerbils, so they can have 10 inches of bedding to tunnel in like they do in the wild, cages arent good at all, they can get stuck in the wires, and can chew the cage, Cages can cause lots of problems for gerbils, for those 2 gerbils that little kid needs at least 20 gallons for them to live happily in, it has great ventaltion when you have a mesh lid on top

@hamsterspetztwo ACutally tanks have horrible ventaltion and can leads mostly to repirtatory prolbmes! Wire cages with a deep base will be fine. These cages are fine as their hooked up to multiple cages!
-
You need a cage they can dig!
-
@Funnystuff712 u can see the rest of the cage near the end. filthy rodents was obviously a joke, calm down
-
hey people it least the persons cage has tubes! all my gerbils are in is a square hamster cage! but my gerbils love their cage cause every day i open the cage and take one out and they jumps back in their cage! maybe those gerbils love their cage but just want to see what happens when they open the door!
