False Prophets - FOTM1

When you open your mouth to speak, and say that YOU know what the Lord wants and you're sure that you are right, then you are speaking "prophecy" - but are you doing it right? The Old Testament model of stoning a prophet the first time they get something wrong is NOT what Jesus and the early church did! Two or three are to consider something together before it is offered up to the Body. If it's not quite right, you pray and adjust. But you DO NOT STONE THEM for trying to hear God!!

Some people have decided that it's their JOB to go around stoning everybody they disagree with. You better be VERY, VERY careful. You, too, are being a prophet by speaking "Thus sayeth the Lord, you're wrong" - so you better be sure YOU are right or the tables may be turned.
