s2000 mods: CAI, headers, exhaust, hondata reflash

first race: s2k thought gti honked... gti got late jump

second race: gti wins

third race: almost dead even... gti barely wins

last race: s2k had a van with uhaul trailer in lane so had to slow down

its bad for honda, look at the size of s2, gti 3200 pounds and s2 like 2800, s2 stock 240 hp with the mods its more then 200 and its sport for 2, gti 200 stock, $600 cheep that gives u 253 hp 303 tq and other modes, honda more money and simple,i have 2 say that honda is not good car, and u should not compare japan 2 german, german cars are alot better, finnishing

actually the gti is quite a bit heavier than 3200 lbs ... gti i probably should have won by a bit more overall with those mods but i didnt see how the start really went since i was ahead towards the finish

How much do you need to modify your GTIs? .

I could only find a handful of clips with stock GTIs racing on youtube. why?...because your cars are truely piss-weak in stock form.

I wonder what all the GTI owners would do if Honda ever decided to turbo charge their sports cars?...Use rocket fuel to beat them?

GTIs are very quick in stock form but they are also not living to full potential. With a simple reflash/chip you can add 55whp and the car becomes a beast. Then take an s2k, a car built almost to its full potential already, and throw another 5k in mods in it just to save like 10lbs and add 5 hp... go figure... honda should throw some turbos on... but that sort of goes against what the honda race development has been about for the past oh... 30 years... correct me if im wrong

@AyashiFX55 i think its funny that you refer the GTI to a moms car... i own a four door GTI and have had so many people try to race me including countless honda 2000s. to be honest i love the feeling i get when i say you just got beat by a "MOMS" car! then its the same excuses. i missed a gear... my vtec didnt kick in...i have sand in my vagina. blah blah blah. GTI is a better looking car, a faster car, longer lasting car, than all of honda's cars! .... just sayin
