I am ready, I am ready, I am ... fine...

Story: VERY AU!!! During AWE Jack meets Lestat at a bar, and Lestat asks him a question and makes a proposition. Will thinks it is a bad idea (in this AU they are friendly) but Jack goes along and does it anyway.

Now he is a vampire, and everything is gray to him. At first he is alone, but soon after Lestat comes after him. He feeds him rats blood because Jack is scared to kill human. Meanwhile, they get close (sleeping together, though not portrayed in video) - or, at least, Jack thinks they are. He learns his new body and fears eating... until he is so starved he attacks his first victim.

After killing the innocent girl (you will find out who it is in the video), he is devestated and asks Lestat what to do. Lestat insteads shows joy and laughs, not the comfort Jack is looking for. Jack threatens to leave, hoping that Lestat would ask him to stay - but Lestat just scoffs and tells him to leave. This upsets Jack, and changes him for the worse- he becomes cold, bitter, and full of hate. And he blames Lestat for it all.

Jump to about 70 years later. Jack, with a new look and attitude, arrives into London. Setting up a faux barber shop, he attacks, bites and then slits the throats of his victims to cover up his vampire-ness (in case anyone finds out). After doing it for about a year, Jack is sitting in his room remembering victims, the way he was, and Lestat.

Who walks through the door but Lestat, thinking Jack to see him- it's been 70 years, who holds a grudge for that long? Jack refuses to talk to him. And when Lestat's back is turned, Jack takes out his trusty razor and slits Lestat's throat, in an attempt to kill him. Without staying around to see if he succeeded, Jack leaves London and goes into hiding.

Lestat: Do you still want death? Or have you tasted it enough?

Jack: Death has a curious way of reshaping one's priorities.
Will: Forever?
Jack: No mate. I'm free forever. Immortal has to count for something, hey?
Will: No.

Lestat: I'm here to answer your prayers.


And the girl in the middle just screams.

Notes: Holy. Crap. This video was so hard to do, and I think it SUCKS, but it is done and I am happy that it is. I was planning on doing the whole song, but I ran out of inspiration and decided to cut it short. Also, I am still new at cookie cutter and making manips - please be gentle!!

Anyways, this was done for Geena's cross 'em slash 'em contest!!! It seemed like a challenge, one that I had to prove to myself I could do. I think I failed, but I always think I do a bad job on my videos. So my opinion doesn't count.
