Man, I can't even express the feelings I felt when Doyle decided to get out and push the car. I'm not going to lie, the first thing I thought when he was burned was, 'Gah'dammit... the hot guy is gone. I should turn this movie off.' I was angry that Doyle had to die by burning to death, but at the same time I thought it was heroic. Y'know? He could have been like 'lolfuhh this' then left. But no. He got out and pushed to save the kids. Rock.

He already knew he was dead. It's not like he was holding his breath when he was pushing the car. Shooting the guys would have only got them to shoot back, and made sure the others didn't escape.

even though doyle died, come to think of it, do you think he could of just used his rifle or if he had a pistol, to shoot those flamethrower guys behind the car? or if he had silencer?? cmon.

i was really angry when doyle died...... he was my favorite character!!! and an amazing hero!

@klobasa29 he could have shot the guy with the flamethrower but then got shot to bits by the 3 other dudes... plus the visibility in the gas was very poor, if he stayed in the car trying to shoot them, he would have to open a window or something.. but that would let the gas into the car... So getting out and giving the car a push-start while the soldiers couldn't see him that well was the best way to go
