Yet again, of course people are saying "the English dub suckz cuz it ain't Japanese". Well guess what? it was still good. Besides that, you could say this Otacon sounds "too cool" for his character. Kojima wanted to paint him as a tech geek with deep character. The English voice makes the character fit better with his "archetype" (and I'm not steroeotypical). Still, it was good otherwise. Oh, and Akio Ohtsuka Snake FTW. He's as sweet as Hayter is!

Somehow, though I haven't understood a single word, the emotions were a lot more intense in the Japanese dub. If we could have the same intensity in the American dubs, I would be even more moved by the story.
-
@magnas27 The American versions haven't in the past. But don't let that stop you, PS3 discs are usually region-free and it shouldn't be too difficult to import the Japanese version.

Idk if it's just me but after MGS1 the japanese dubs were really ill fitting, they wete excellent dubs but just kinda outta place. Imo

I agree.

thumbs up if ya said this is the best scene ever in the game =D

@boredguy So what if it was gay?
-
That's a pretty good sniffle at the beginning of the vid w/otacon
-
I know, they are selfish, that's why?
THE HANDSHAKE!!!! EPIC!!!!!!! The relationship between Otacon and Snake are Deep... but not gay! LOL. I still think Snake probably bosses him around behind the scenes too lol.

"Oniichan. Aitai yo." Emma's parrot is adorable. I was so glad to see it in the game's final scene -- but it's nowhere in MGS4, is it? :(
Hal's crying in the original Japanese is a little more realistic, yeah. Christopher Randolph bawls loudly, but there isn't the "full involvement" Hideyuki Tanaka provides. (Maybe it's all in the nose.)
