'07 Eclipse GT vs '05 Sentra SE-R V-spec NISMO edition

My Eclipse w/intake, exhaust, and springs vs a stock SE-R V-spec NISMO edition. This guy actually thought his alphabet soup edition Sentra would take me, yeah ok.

haha i just spanked the crap out of two eclipse's sunday at the northbay AF autocross, those things have the body roll of a typical over weight mcdonalds loving american, my car is a bone stock se-r!

Aww your so special,you beat some kid's who can't drive there GS's in your stock econo car on the track so you think your fast. The Eclipse in the video destroyed 350Z's, SRT4's, and 911's on twisty roads with me behind the wheel. Plus it could trap more than a Honda Accord, or Toyaota Camry in the quarter unlike your SE-R. They 4g's have a cushy suspension stock, but $400 in springs and a rear sway bar make a world of difference.

jbruce u really need to stop leaving comments on here cause u really have no idea what u r talking about... the spec v does not run the quarter mile anywhere near to the odyssey... its a fucking van.. n less u think the odyssey goes about the same speed as a z because i can hang with stock z's easily.... btw im not turbo and have beat many eclipses

Spec-v 1/4 mile 15.6, Corolla XRS 15.8, and heres the funny one while the Odessy is like low 16's the Toyota Sienna runs a 15.5. So yes there is a minivan out there that is slightly faster than a Spec-V which isn't saying much. Besides the fastest I've seen a stock Corolla XRS run is a 15.4, the fastest I've seen a stock Spec-V run is a buddy of mine ran a 15.6 in his. I've seen a lot of Spec-Vs at the drags struggle to run below a 16.0, Maybe you should stop posting on here about your slow car.

wow... u r really showing how little u know about cars... a stock spec v will hit sixty in the high 6's... they do really good with bolt on's so header, intake, exhaust, bsr, cams and your easily in the mid 5's

Its still a turd either way, I've never owned a car as slow as a spec-v. And I really don't consider a car that runs the quarter mile in around the same time as a new Honda Odessy or Toyota Sienna quick. Shit my first car was an '89 Dodge Shadow ES turbo and that could still annihilate a Spec-V.

@stevoreno yeah man he's right... the 4gs roll like nuts factory, because they're basically a galant... very heavy @ 3400lbs, but with better springs and a sway bar, they actually handle pretty well for a 62/38 balanced 3400lb car... plus, as this proves, they're a lot faster in a straight line. Just a fun all around car, not the best at anything, but def fun.... plus, sounds great. ;)

Not really fair smoking that spec-v like that, those things are turds stock. Still turds with bolt ons. I think my girlfriends 96 Elantra would give that car a closer run closer run, lol.
