Tyler Hawkins (Robert Pattinson) confronts his father Charles Hawkins (Pierce Brosnan) during a meeting.

In the romantic drama "Remember Me", Robert Pattinson plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since tragedy separated their family. Tyler didn't think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through until the day he met Ally (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate. Love was the last thing on his mind, but as her spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him, he begins to fall for her. Through their love, he begins to find happiness and meaning in his life. I think that Rob's acting was actually pretty fucking good! It was astounding.

All of the people saying it was shit or even bad, can't do half as good as he did, so they can go ahead and choke on their words.

Sure he's sexy, sure he's gorgeous. But judging him on this criteria alone turns him into a caricature Disney actor. Which he's not. He needs experience, that's true but he's learning and works in very different projects in order to do so. What I find ridiculous is people who despise him and still take time to write contemptuous comments about him and his fans. Who, by the way are not all fat 16 year olds. Sure I had this chocolate mousse for lunch but still...

Seriously it's sad how people just hate him because he played Edward Cullen in Twilight. He's an actor for gods sake not a character of a book you don't like, and he's good at what he does. You might like it or not, but you cannot say he's a bad actor just because he was in a succesful franchise.

Yet a lot of people love him, and that's because he's a good actor for them. If you don't want to accept that, don't. Just while he revolves around his millions of dollars. Your opinion is different from these people's, but because you think one thing, doesn't make it the truth and vice-versa. I don't need to change people's opinions, just as you can't do it either by reviewing as much as you want. As I said, it's all a matter of perspective. Accept it or not. :D

If he wasn't a good actor, NO ONE would like him. FACT is, a whole lot of people do. Making him good for some as well as bad for others. The fact your opinion isn't compatible with those of us who think he did well, doesn't make it the truth. It's all a matter of perspective. Each person has their own opinions, and if you cannot accept that and judge by what YOU feel and think it's correct, then I just advise you to open your mind a bit more. It's real life. :) x

Bagheadman its personal opinion as to whether you like someones acting or not, and I personally think he is amazing in this film. If you don't like him that's your choice, bbut you can't have a go at everyone else who does lol :)

@SlaytanicSeries Actually, it might just be because I have a learned opinion in terms of acting, and know that - Twilight or not - he's not very good at it. Going by this scene alone, with no regard for his body of work? It's bad. He plays the character like he's supposed to be Autistic.
