Dennis is just fantastic here!! Hard to imagine anyone else doing such a powerful lead as this.....Powerful vocals that you don't hear these days.....There must be good singers out there.....Why oh why are the dross to the fore these days?....Anyway...my opinion.....Steve...x

Dennis Edwards, with his soulful bassline voice provides just the right amount of grit to this classic "Temptations" song. I don't think David Ruffin could of done as well as Dennis did (no disrepect to David Ruffin as he was a great lead singer).....
When "The Temptations" enter into their Psychedelic Soul phrase, the songs they did seem to taken advantage of the fact that the group now had a new lead singer and Dennis Edwards proved himself the right man for the job....

So I read that Paul needed an oxygen tank kept in the back because of his sickle cell. Well, notice at the very end he starts to run off stage. I wonder if he was feeling really sick???? I find them so intriguing...I wish I could have been alive during their prime and I wish I could know the true story, not what Otis decided to write about once they all passed on

UM Otis wrote the book in 1988, so the only person that was deceased was Paul.
