Welcome to Shop Talk. On this episode we are joined by Chris MacMillen of Southern Graphic Systems. The global branding company performs everything from graphic design all the way through to printing plates, also referred to as image carriers. Southern Graphics Systems is the largest company of its kind in North America, with locations throughout the US and Canada, as well as Europe and Asia. Essentially, Southern Graphic's job is to ensure that a company's brands, logos, and packaging, look great. They work on large consumer product companies' packaging such as those like Kraft, Proctor and Gamble, and Anheuser Busch while also working with smaller companies like local farmers, and produce companies. Southern Graphic works with any kind of packaging out there, and also assists with "point of purchase" and "point of sale", anything that helps promote the company's brand.
