I was in 6th grade the first time I heard this song. I was watching the muppet movie on tv with a girl that I just happened to have an earth-shattering crush on. She was just visiting for the summer & left town shortly after our shared movie encounter. I don't think she ever knew how I felt about her, but to my 12 year old heart, that 90 minute movie that allowed me to sit close to her & share a handful of smiles was one of the best thing I'd ever experienced! I'll always remember that moment & this song that became the soundtrack to a bittersweet scene in my life.
