They misssed a big part of the concept... which is the perspective of windows or a tile type floor... if the room looked exactly like that one... it would not work... everybody would know exactly what was happening... its usually the windows and floor that is drawn to trick your mind from seeing the actual shape of the room... without that... there is no illusion... so this is only a partial explanation.. a poor one at that
