@e2thaj79 That's why you use starting fluid for a gasoline engine, not pure ether. I've used it before in a flathead V8 of 1946 and it did no harm whatsoever.

@e2thaj79 Carb clean is not ether. Not saing carb clean is good for a motor but for start up it works.
