I've had this game since late 2009 and I haven't figured out how to drift. I managed to place first every time on hard mode by decelerating on corners. Thanks for this tutorial, I'll give this stuff a try.

These videos are very helpful in mastering the drifts. You should post the links in the iTunes page as there are some players out there who don't get how the drifts work and are posting some pretty bad reviews because they don't know how the handling works. This game is by far my favorite of the racing games I have.

Love auto accelerate and tilt camera. I am now actually placing first in races.
Im not sure whether to keep tilt drifting on or off. For the talon it helps but i find myself drifting too much with other cars.
