This vibrant four piece is based in london and have wowed audiences since their inception in 2008 playing festivals and venues around the UK.

They have a huge and varied musical experience which makes their music both moving and hard to define. They use experimental film footage in their sets and make use of home made circuit bent devices, giving audiences a unique experience.

The bands music is collectively written and uses an unusual array of instruments, commonly replacing a Bass with Fx'd Electric violin. This nonstandard approach helps redefine how a band can sound, leading to comparisons as varied as Pink Floyd , Radiohead, TV On The Radio and Mars Volta. Secret Cinema have recorded at EMI Studios as well working with producer Daniel Knowles from the Post-Rock band, Amusement Parks On Fire to record the first three tracks of their forthcoming album "Through a Cathode Darkly". The rest of the tracks have now been recorded for this exciting project and the band are looking forward to releasing it.
