Come 2008, Philips are going to extend their Ambilight range and get rid of the surround of their TVS, where the light is projected from. It's currently called Ambilight Pixelation.

looks fantastic.. wonder what the price will be like.. me personally i wouldnt pay more than 2k for a t.v i own a sony bravia but i like the philips ambilight.. it just looks great...
