This video was taken at the opening at SFMOMA of Jim Campbell's "Exploded Views," an artwork installation in the museum atrium. Strands of LED lights hang from the ceiling - think of it like a huge low resolution monitor "exploded" into 3 dimensions. Different perspectives from the floor and each landing change the viewer's visual experience of the same work: from complete abstraction to dancers in motion which the imagination resolves into legibility.
