after a big lose to margarito and that beating that he took they wanted to see if he was still the same old cotto that he was before that bad ass beating from margarito (mano de yeso). they didnt know how he was going to react in the rign after that figh. that is why they put a scrub well i dont want to say scrub because his record was some what similar to cotto's,they dont want to take a chance with a good fighter like clotty,before time,,,but he looks like hes ready for a good fighter...
