I sang this in class yesterday. The teacher, who's around 60, got extremely happy.
The other kids were like, "Who sings that? Bruno Mars?"
God, transport me to the 60's. Or 50's. Please.

I feel sorry for the young music listeners of today. Music of today is just crap.
They will never know what REAL music is like.
Not just a bunch of noise, yelling and screaming that makes no sense at all.
Rap is crap...thrash is trash.

Singing this for the school musical auditions:D The play is 50's themed so I figured I would pick something in the 40's through 60's range -14 year old girl lol

For all of you who say this is better than the Beatles,L&M only made a demo version of this which was a rough recording of vocals and an acoustic guitar. They gave the song away,I'm sure if they wanted to keep it they'd record it perfectly turning into another #1 hit.

@pinkyellowblackred bar this one ...this a better version......my opinion

First, this was a throw away song. Itls like when L&M were at a party and sneering it is so simple to write Rock & Roll songs that it was a license to print money. They then went into the kitchen and wrote 'I WANT TO BE YOUR MAN' in 15 minutes and then handed it to Mick and said 'Any Twit can write a No #1 Song---Here, knock yerself out, Mick!!! What is truely Amazing is that the Beatles left Mersy Beat for Folk Rock for Psychedellia for Modern Rock and Billy and his ilk couldn't/didn't.
Many Many years ago, my "First Love" dedicated this song to me in a love letter. I still remember how touched I was.
