This is a short video for a review at the Portuguese language comics blog lerbd on Gabrielle Piquet's "Les enfants de l'envie", a short graphic novel about a man haunted by displaced origins. Readers of "Jimmy Corrigan" may find echoes here. Piquet's style is reminiscent of certain experiences of minimalist drawing animation, and very effective in the mixture of memories, perception, projections, illusions and dreams of the main character.
