Randy will be one of the most influential guitar players ever. It is stupid to compare Randy or Eddie to many players of the 90's and the 2000's. Those two are to this date the template of many guitar players. It's like comparing them to Clapton, Page or Hendrix. What they did is set a template for Eddie and Randy to play with. This two set the stage a bit higher and there are many that exceeded and a a big bunch that failed.
