GOD, this game was awesome when i played it back in the day, i never got past the second level, but i didn't care, i loved every minute of the experience :DD

@lutzdify I owned it, it was of...questionable...quality. The only thing good about it was the music which at least shared the basic beats I think:D

This game is as good as Vectorman

Did you guys know that there is an 8-bit version of turrican for the gameboy?

I just got this on the Wii Virtual Console and it is not an easy game. It's pretty fun though and has some cool music.

OMG! I love Turrican to Death but this intro rips on X-Com Enemy Unknown :D

@SNESosT yes i do, snes super turrican 2 is great and hard too!!
-
@lakronnnn you must have not played super turrican 2 then
-
Compare it to the original - the Amiga version and you will see why.
Why is the music fucking horrible? Only because it's FM Synthesis and not MOD?
I think it's awesome what they did with the Yamaha in the MD. I like it better than the cheesy Super NES Generel Midi elevator music. ;)

Wow this really is different from the SNES version. I never played a Turrican game, I just remember the series getting really good reviews when I was younger. I do remember Mega Turrican getting higher reviews than Super Turrican (still close though) back then but I wasn't sure why. They look like completely different games. Back then some multiplatform games were like this, each console seemed to have their own version. Super Turrican looks dull in videos but this looks great.
