Jesus there's a lot of whining on here about how harsh the trainer is being on this bird. These conditions aren't as harsh as nature is to wilder goshawks daily. Notice how there was mention of its transparent eyelids being closed to avoid thorns.It's easier flying through a small place into a wide clearing than through an equally small space into the brush behind it. This bird is too badass to worry about the edge of a plastic spacer. Goshawk don't care. Goshawk is an aerial killing machine.
