Seneca Hose Firefighters responded this morning at 0747 Hrs for a report of a structure fire with people trapped on Covington Dr. Seneca Hose 9-2 went on location reporting a 2 story dwelling fully involved. Seneca Hose 9 assumed command and reported heavy fire 1st floor of a 30x30 dwelling extending to the 2nd floor, possible victims on the 2nd floor, & requested additional companies to the scene. Command further reported fire through the roof and one victim found DOA on the 2nd floor. A second victim was found DOA on the first floor near the front door. Mutual aid companies were Vigilant, Winchester, Reserve, Union, Newton Abbott, East Seneca, South Line (FAST), Spring Brook (fill in @ East Seneca), Orchard Park (fill in @ Vigilant), & Doyle 2 (fill in @ Winchester). The fire was under control in 37 minutes.

  • I thought the mother was found DOA on first floor in front of the front door and the son was found on the 2nd floor. Its states both were found on 2nd floor. Also what was the final investigation.

    Thanks for your video. I can't like this one, but you did a good job. My love and support goes out to all the FF's who so desperately wanted to get into the house to save Mom and son. May you find comfort in knowing you tried your best.

    May everyone affected by this fire find some peace and comfort in the support of strangers like me.
