Straight Talk from Gene Taylor, Part 2

Thank you for the privilege of representing South Mississippi. As your congressman, I've established a reputation for hard work, straight talk, and of serving you.

I fought to protect our bases from three rounds of base closure and saved 38,000 defense related jobs here in South Mississippi. I fought for our families, our cities, and our counties in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina standing up to the greed of the insurance industry when they denied the legitimate claims of South Mississippi families depriving them of the money they needed to rebuild their homes.

And I even told the President of the United States that if he couldn't find someone to keep the oil from our shores, then let me do it.

My opponent has done none of these things. He has based his campaign on lies and half-truths.

Our nation faces enormous problems that are not going to be solved by liars. It's going to take hard work, straight talk, and someone who will fight for you.

In all these ways, I've stood up for you. On November 2nd, I'm asking you to stand up for me. I'm Gene Taylor, and I approved this message.
