@pepeloco65 you are right...I was wrong...but he did grow up on 1st Ave below 14th street in Manhattan. His family moved back to Argentina, but his first exposure to the bandoneon was in New York City. I love to listen to spanish as it is spoke by Italian/Argentinians...it is a different kind of music.

@doomownage94 if you know the history of piazzolla, he was born in the Lower East Side in Manhattan, his family emigrated to Argentina, where there is a huge Italian community. I have found that many Argentinians seem to sound Italian when they speak.

Obviously he is a very gifted man, but the thing that surprizes me the most is that he, along with I, are one of very few Argentines who have learned to speak English correctly. LOL JK (sort of )

El Tango Rioplatense y la Milonga Argentina deciende indirectamente de la Habanera,genero musical cubano.En 1852 soldados cubanos fueron al Rio de la Plata y ahi fue donde se inspiro en parte el Tango Argentino,la otra parte es de Europa.
