Not only is this bread fairly healthy but it makes a great breakfast bread , snack or even add a little vanilla ice cream or cool whip to turn it into a dessert.

What does zucchini bread taste like? It kinda reminds me of banana bread. It's like a cinnamon bread. You can taste the brown sugars and spice. The zucchini flavors blends in well with the sweetness adding a healthy punch!

Zucchini bread and other quick breads freezes really well so I always make several loafs. I love the smell of zucchini bread cooking in the oven. It's a great late summer dessert that can really be enjoyed all year around.

Gift Idea Tip: Wrap slices of fresh, homemade zucchini bread in Seran wrap and place in a decorated tin container and give away as a gift. This bread is great for shipping as well!

I have NEVER heard of Zucchini bread!!!! I will have to try it. It looks like it taste really good. Question.......Is more like a bannana nut bread or is it like bread you would eat while eating dinner or a salad or something?

It's like a banana nut bread. It's sweet. You can't taste the zucchini at all.

I was gifted with 20 pounds of zuchini this week! Most of it went in the dehydrator, but I wanted to make some into zucchini bread. I didn't have a good recipe, so I browsed here and found yours. does it have to be all purpose flour? my family's tummies don't do well with white flour, so we only use wheat.
