WOW! my absolute favorite Art Song. I have great news. I'm now working on Oratorio pieces. i'm currently working on Saint Saens Requiem, I know the Mozart Requiem, Sparrow Mass and Great mass in C Minor K.427, Faure Requiem, Beethoven Missa Solemnis. and Handel's Messiah.

Hi there
You really tell the story of the throut, I like it :-)I posted a video with my version I sang in an open singing class. I didn't have a pianist so I had to follow the rhythm of the instrumental accompaniment, which was not always optimal... but ok.
